Denizli Lisesi Model United Nations 2023 is a simulation of the United Nations in content and form. MUN is organized around the world, and students attend from various schools to discuss global issues on their committees. Participants represent their given countries as delegates in their assigned committee. The role of delegates is to act as the representative of their given country to the United Nations. Delegates are expected to solve the problems by taking an active role in the discussions by researching the Agenda Item of the committee, writing solution proposals and presenting amendments to other solution proposals within three days.
OUR VISION AND MISSION:
Denizli Lisesi Model United Nations Conference 2023 aims to prepare an environment for students to develop solution ideas to the global problems that constitute the agenda items of the United Nations, to increase the Turkish and English language dominance of the participants, their social awareness, public speaking, critical thinking and research skills. In addition to these, the conference; aims to develop the worldview of students, to make it possible for students to meet the United Nations closely, to strengthen the cultural ties of students, and to provide individuals who build the society of the future with the opportunity to discuss and find solutions to the problems of the world at an early age.
